Starfield on PS5

I may be a PC gamer, but I am always excited for releases on all platforms, whether that is PS5, XBOX or Nintendo. Starfield is clearly one of the most anticipated games of the year, and I alongside many others have been following its development for years. But I think a lot of PlayStation fans are curious about getting it themselves.

The discussion of Starfield would not be complete without addressing this question of exclusivity. Microsoft has confirmed that the game will be an Xbox and PC exclusive. This is disappointing news for PlayStation gamers, but I understand the business reasons behind that decision. Microsoft is invested heavily on Starfield, so as a business owner myself, it makes sense as to why they would keep it exclusive, even if it's only for a couple years.

I'm still hopeful that Starfield will eventually come to PS5. Microsoft has a history of releasing some of its first-party games on other platforms, but that is purely speculation on my end. There has been Microsoft exclusives release on PlayStation and Nintendo in the past, the first 2 games that come to my mind are Cuphead & Mincraft.

In the meantime, I am happy to play Starfield on PC. I believe that the game is worth the cost of a PC, which I personally prefer due to disliking the whole console war scene. However, I can understand why PlayStation gamers are disappointed.
